Ranking methodology <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To put it simply, and to suit the greatest number of gym concepts, five key success factors were chosen:

\u2013 A young population
- High purchasing power
\u2013 A positive population growth
- Low competitive density
\u2013 Market dynamism<\/p>\n

Each European country was therefore studied on the basis of five indicators:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2013 Number of residents aged 15 to 29
Purchasing power parity
- Population growth between 2014 and 2024
\u2013 Competitor density per customer target
\u2013 Growth of the sports activities market<\/p>\n

The scores were weighted according to the relative importance of each factor for this market: a coefficient of 3 for the target customer, a coefficient of 2 for demographic growth, competitive density, and market dynamism, and a coefficient of 1 for purchasing power. Each country received a score out of 100 for each indicator, calculated by comparing the observed data to that of the top-ranked country. The weighted average of these five scores then constitutes the final score for each country, making it possible to evaluate its potential for opening a gym.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
